INTERACTIVE LIGHT INSTALLATION

Created by Atelier dittó in collaboration with Rosalinde Vermeulen, This interactive light installation invites visitors to answer the question, “What is your light?” After scanning a specially designed QR code-surface, participants share a one-word response that’s instantly projected into the space as a radiant beam. Over time, these words form an ever-growing sun made of light and words.

Ray of Light is a traveling installation that seeks answers from various locations around the world, connecting these insights into both print and digital formats. This process allows the installation to grow and evolve over time.

Reading what brings light to others’ lives, can foster a sense of unity, warmth, and hope, potentially brightening someone’s day.

One of the emerging print formats from the installation is a personalized textile art print. This print features a chronological word list from each exhibition and can be ordered with your input answer highlighted in a glow-in-the-dark color.
